Studios

Southside’s visual and performing arts studios provide many choices for artists. Our visual arts studios include painting, drawing, ceramics, digital arts, wire sculpture, knitting and many other options to choose from. We encourage artist to create their own pieces and develop methods of working, in order to find their artistic voice. 

Many of our artists exhibit and sell their art at the Southside Art Center Gallery and other community exhibitions in the Sacramento/Auburn area. The artist’s enjoy exhibiting their art and look forward to selling their artwork through these exhibitions and learning marketing and sales strategies.

In the performing arts studio, we offer music choices such as the Southside Ensemble,Vocal Variety, individual music instructions and a podcast that is created by participants and broadcasts monthly.
